Consider provision of new recreatipnal areas and co-ordinated provision of both primary and secondary schools in line with increased housing. The present Aire Valley Trunk Sewer will not be able to deal with the proposed increase of housing  developments in Cross Hills, Steeton, Silsden and Keighley. The culverting of surface water from the  housing expansion will have a detrimental effect on  the Aire Valley Flood Plain. How will the new Eastern By-Pass be financed? Will there be any future development East of this by-pass?

1101	Improving the towpath in both directions. It's a wonderful facility but out of bounds for much of the winter because of very bad walking conditions and dangerous in parts. It should be made more available to disabled, what pleasure it would add to their life. Seats would provide a lovely place to sit and stare.
